1st Solar Expo, 9-12 Feb in Marrakech

Announced a year ago, the first edition of Solar Expo will be held from 9 to 12 February 2012 in Marrakech under the theme "A need to strengthen the commitment to solar energy”.

International platform of solar energy, this exhibition is initiated by the international communication agency Aicom Events.

Solar Expo "creates a strong enthusiasm in relation to the number of participants registered to date from Morocco, Turkey, Spain and France," said a statement by the organizers."

“It encourages the exploitation of solar energy in Morocco resolutely committed to an ambitious energy plan," the statement added.

The exhibition focuses on production companies, equipment manufacturers, installers, consultants, architects, institutions of energy and sustainable development, developers, distributors, and wholesalers.

Solar Expo is the first exhibition of its kind in Africa and the Arab world to be organised in Morocco, the hub of solar energy production.
