3rd Anniversary for Yacout Info
Yacout Info celebrates its third anniversary and we are happy that we have accompanied our readers and kept them informed on events over the last three years. Events which have included the global economic crisis that has turned the world economy upside down challenging the established economic order and affecting the USA and the EU and all the major economies.

The Tsunami in Japan has again put the future of nuclear energy into question and the tumultous events of the Arab Spring have unleashed forces for democratic change which have yet to be fully realised.

We are in the process of witnessing profound changes of historical proportions the like of which have not been seen since the fall of communism. We are witnessing the fall of dictatorship as we know it. Democracy and human rights are the watchwords of the future. Whilst  such change brings  some apprehension it is also a time of great hope for the future.

As for Morocco, we are encouraged to see the positive reaction of the West, notably the congratulations
of the  US and EU leaders and more recently the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-Moon, as we continue our peaceful  progress for democractic change.

I would personally like to take this opportunity to  thank our staff and our editor Colin Kilkelly and all those who have contributed articles to Yacout Info. We look forward to continuing to serve you as we cover  our changing world.
