A delegation, of the National Security Council (NSC) and the American Department of State visited Morocco 23-26 July

The delegation had meetings with government representatives, the private sectror and the leaders of NGOs concerning the promotion and development of business, economic growth and international partnerships with reference to entrepreneurial development.


This visit was based on the Presidential on entpreneurship organised by President Barack Obama in Washington DC in April 2010. Following trhe Presidential summit on entrepreneurship, the private sector organised a conference on entrepreneurs in the Maghreb for the autumn. The Maghreb conference will bring together north african businesses, leaders, entrepreneurs, young businesspeople aspiring to be entrepeneurs. business leaders from the USA with the aim of encouraging the spirit of enterprise in the region.
