Air Arabia Maroc is to start services from Gatwick to Morocco next month.
The carrier, which is part of United Arab Emirates-based Air Arabia, will start flying from Gatwick to Casablanca and Tangier from October 28 when it will run a total of five weekly services.
Flights to Casablanca will operate three times per week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays with Gatwick departures at 14.10 and return flights from Casablanca leave at 09.45.
Services to Tangier will run on Thursdays and Sundays with Gatwick departures at 12.15 and Tangier flights leaving at 16.15.
Air Arabia’s group CEO Adel Ali said: “This announcement marks a new milestone for Air Arabia Maroc. Entering the United Kingdom will further strengthen our current flights between Morocco and Europe; and at the same time, offers customers wider choice of affordable air travel between Casablanca, Tangier and London.”
The airline began its Moroccan services in 2009 using Airbus A320 aircraft with seats offering a 32-inch pitch.
