This tour is part of a program of the Alliance of Civilizations, conducted in cooperation with the German Marshall Fund in the United States, the Arab League, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the British Cultural Council.

Mr. Emmanuel Kattan, media advisor of the Alliance of Civilizations United Nations, has said the program aims to enhance exchanges of visits between the Arab and Muslim citizens with their European and American counterparts, including Belgium, Great Britain, France and the United States.
