Initiated by the Association "Permanence of Moroccan Judaism" (APJM), this meeting will bring together more than a hundred historians, researchers and scholars from five continents.
The symposium, which is part of the 2nd identity tour of APJM in southern Morocco (10-21 March), is organized in collaboration particularly with the Department of Hebrew Studies at the University Paris-VIII, Casa de Sefarad de Cordoba (Spain), Research Centre on the Jews of Morocco, the Research and Studies Group on Moroccan Jews, the Jewish community of Marrakesh and the French magazine "L'Arche".
The 2nd identity journey of APJM in southern Morocco will take participants from Marrakech to Erfoud through the Oukaïmeden, the Ourika valley, Essaouira, Demnate, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Goulmima and Merzouga.
