The agenda for this meeting, initiated under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, is structured around four main themes, namely "the heritage and local culture as a lever for development of women and families", "the figurative and crafts arts"," Governance and Sustainable Development: achievements and Perspectives" and "the Amazigh culture,” said a statement from the Association.
Other activities are planned in conjunction with this event, including an exhibition of international women's contemporary figurative art, which will see the participation of eminent artists from Morocco and abroad and another tribute to the artist Dounia Walit, a Moroccan painter, who lived in Germany where she died.
Another exhibition will also be initiated on the specificity of production of rural women, the aim being to promote and develop local human resources.
An open art studio dedicated to the alphabet Tifinagh, considered to be a cultural distinctiveness of Morocco, and also a well planned program, which provides for the opening of this event, an evening of classical music hosted by German group ''Riolaand Korditim” interpreting a musical Mediterranean, and an evening of Sufism with the company “Al Hoda''.
Artists, researchers, journalists, besides representatives of international and national organizations, mainly from Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and Mexico are expected to attend this event.
