Art: Exhibition 'Transparencies' at Galerie Rê in Marrakech

These are landscapes glimpse through veils covering some of the parts. The works are lightly colored, as the artist tends to use gray, black, white and blue, according to a press release of the gallery.

The works offer minimalist interiors marked by work in three dimensions and can not be reduced to painting or sculpture.

Besides that, the framework goes beyond its functional utility to play a part in the whole work. The multiple fasteners made of small sculptures of stone or wires of iron are also exposed.

Yasmina Ziyat chose to make recycling at the service of art, using waste materials, scrap metal, paper, textiles to compose heterogeneous and mosaic landscapes.
