B.L. Harbert lands $139M contract for Morocco project

BL Harbert International LLC has been awarded a $139.7 million contract to build a new U.S. embassy in Morocco. The US  Birmingham Alabama -based contractor is slated to begin work on the Rabat, Morocco, compound, which will house U.S.

diplomatic functions, in late November. The project is expected to be finished in November 2014.
The privately owned construction company, which is headquartered on Shades Creek Parkway, reported $657 million in revenue in 2010.
