Casablanca’s International book fair to bring together 800 exhibitors

Casablanca’s international book fair, known by its French acronyms SIEL, will bring together no less than 800 exhibitors in its 18th edition, to be held on February 10-19.

Preparations are underway to hold such considerable cultural event with a record number of 800 of exhibitors expected in the 18th edition, organizers said in a statement.

The organizers also expressed astonishment regarding the decision to boycott the fair boycotting by Moroccan publishing houses, who consider that the Ministry of Culture fell short of upholding its commitment.
