The exhibition entitled "Symmetries of a region" by Spanish photographer Antonio Perez, is organized by the Department of the Presidency of the Andalusian regional government in collaboration with the regional culture of Tangier-Tetouan under the Ministry of Culture.
This event is part of the project "Cooperation Platform Andalusia North of Morocco" (PLACTAM) co-financed by European fund for regional development, whose main objective is cooperation and rapprochement between institutional and socioeconomic both parties.
The photographic collection "Symmetries of a region" illustrates the geographical contiguity, cultural and social cooperation between adjacent areas of Morocco and Spain through a succession of images representing the two regions of Andalusia and northern Morocco and notes the many similarities of Andalusian and Moroccan evryday life.
After Tetouan, the exhibition will be mounted from July 12 to August 15 at the museum of Malaga and Tarifa (Cadiz) August 19 to September 25.
