Culture and Tourism Forum in Tangier on 27 and 28 June

The Forum "Culture and Tourism" will be held on June 27 and 28 in Tangier under the theme "the challenge of sustainable tourism in Tangier," said a statement from the EU Delegation in Rabat.

The forum, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (Euromed) in collaboration with the Delegation of Tourism and the International Higher Institute of Tourism (ISITT), aims to promote interaction between culture and tourism professionals in the city and create an exchange of experiences among them around the Mediterranean.

The forum is organized around three complementary components namely a space for exhibitions and information on tourism and cultural resources of the city of Tangier and its region, presentations and exchange of experiences and guided tours of the city.

The project aims to help people, especially women and youth in Morocco and Egypt, to take ownership of their own cultural heritage by facilitating access to training and knowledge of their heritage in a sustainable development perspective.
