Germany, France, Italy, Spain in addition to Morocco, are in advanced talks for a large energy investment of 778 million in the kingdom, according to a German media source (Süddeutsche Zeitung).
The investment involves the construction of a solar station in southern Morocco with a capacity of 150 megawatts, designed to produce and export its electricity to the European market.
The station, which is part of the Desertec project and whose work will be launched in 2014, will be operational in 2016.
