Throughout the days of the festival (June 21 to 24), fans of Gnawa music will enjoy Moroccan and foreign artists at the Place Moulay Hassan, Place La Plage, Burj Bab Marrakech, Dar Souiri and Zaouïa Sidna Blal. Various musical performances and unique fusions between various musical styles are in the programme.
The strongest moments of the festival will see the participation of the Malian artist Oumou Sangare and the Senegalese Carlou D, in addition to the festivities marking the opening day which will be marked by a parade involving all participating groups.
The festival offers a rich artistic programme through which Gnaoua maâlems welcome foreign artists to perpetuate artistic moments of exception. Indeed, this edition is going to experience live music hosted by Said Abdellah and Kharraz Oughssal next to the group Made in Africa Djembe New Style. Similarly, Issaoua of Meknes meet with Pakistani artists Fareed Ayaz and Abu Mohammad.
