‘Evolution in continuity’, a ‘founding credo’ for Morocco – Amrani

Morocco has always made of “evolution in continuity” a founding credo for its political practice, Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister Youssef Amrani said on Monday.

This credo is achieved with success thanks to a series of institutional, identity and political specificities, said Amrani who chaired an Iftar (fast breaking) reception at Morocco’s Embassy in Paris on occasion of the Throne Day in honor of Moroccan and Foreign guests including three French Ministers.

He added that the Monarchy, which has always been at the heart of the nation’s process of progress and development, is the guarantor of Morocco’s unity.

In this regard, Amrani recalled the reforms launched by King Mohammed VI since his enthronement with a special focus on the new constitution which enshrines the separation of powers, the independence of justice and the building of a democratic and open society.

On the Moroccan-French relation, Amrani said partnership between the two countries have been steadily reinforced building on the human long standing ties between their peoples.
