HM The King Appoints Yassir Zenagui His AdvisorRabat - HM King Mohammed VI appointed Yassir Zenagui, Tourism and craft industry minister, as his advisor in the Royal Cabinet, said on Tuesday a statement of the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery.
“The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that HM King Mohammed VI appointed Yassir Zenagui, Tourism and craft industry minister, as his advisor in the Royal Cabinet, given the experience he has accumulated in the missions entrusted to him,” the statement said.
Born in 1970 in Tangier, Zenagui studied artificial intelligence before before serving in senior positions with the French bank, la Société Générale, in Paris and London. Later, Zenagui was appointed Director in charge of trading at the Deutsche Bank in London. Zenagui is also founder of the London-based Sienna Group, a tourism investment company of which he was the CEO. On January 4, 2010, HM the King appointed Zenagui Tourism and Handicrafts Minister.
