IFFM-the results in figuresThe budget for the 10th International Film Festival of Marrakech, which opened 3rd December, amounted to DH 75 million, or 15% more than the budget for IFFM 2009.
Over 80,000 people have attended movies shown on the Jemaa El Fna. The IFFM has created 538 direct jobs for some 72,000 hours of work. In addition, the festival was served by 300 caterers and afforded no less than 5,600 overnight stays in the city of Marrakech.
An important and extensive media coverage has accompanied the 10th edition of the International Film Festival of Marrakech International Film Festival, which was ensured by the presence of more than 500 representatives of national and international media. These are from over 20 countries, including France, Spain, the United States, Germany, Italy, Russia, Sweden, China and Holland.
