Once again inside the prestigious Palace Es Saadi, the  48  galleries from the four  corners of the globe are patrons of what is now the largest concentration of contemporary art in Morocco.

Hundreds of artists transcend the look and disturb the mind. Whether well known where in the process of becoming so, all these wonderfulpaintings and sculptures are  side by side on an equal footing. Perhaps it is this that is such an attraction of the international artistic community? Because if  this is true in Marrakech for  local exhibitors, it is the same for Turkey, Spain, France, Tunisia, Egypt and even the United States.

Cosmopolitan and an  fair place for cultural exchanges which  can only encourage the spirit of the creators to new horizons. Designers but also spectators then turn to an uninhibited world of aesthetics, direction changing and irregular currents. Bringing clarity and detail on topics evolving Roxana Azimi, arts journalist recognized unveils doubts when she runs round tables with control and clarity.
Tthe heart of the fair continues to beat  inside the walls of the Palace Es Saadi, many people have wanted to join this artistic endeavor. A few yards away, the Sofitel is hosting a series of photographs entitled "Fashion stills, if fashion Could Talk" presented by the Parisian Polka Gallery. Medina side, as in the first edition, the old and legendary El Maghreb Bank on the Jemaa el Fna is converted into a showroom to house a treasure made of still and moving images.

This year, the new seventh art forms are  in the spotlight. Working with famous films and the  Colisée Cinema and  ESAV (School of Visual Arts), the organization will  pay tribute to one of the only Moroccan directors nominated for Oscars, Nabil Ayouch.

2011 promises to be the year of change. This international fair is probably the only one which can open our eyes to a changing world through the eyes of its contemporaries.
