Marrakech - The Jewish community in Marrakech held Thursday at the Theatre Royal de Marrakech, an evening to mark the 13th anniversary of the accession of King Mohammed VI to the throne.
The evening, which took place in the presence of the Wali of the Marrakech Tensift Al Haouz, Mohammed Fawzi, was decorated with music and patriotic songs, reflecting the expression of joy in this community who seized the opportunity to express its heartfelt congratulations, fidelity and loyalty to HM King Mohammed VI.
On this occasion, the president of the Jewish community in Marrakech-Essaouira, Jacky Kadoch highlighted the ambitious projects of modernization and development under way in Morocco, particularly since 1999.
He noted that after the adoption of the new constitution, the Moroccan public opinion has become very attentive to building democracy and confidence in Moroccan institutions which continues to consolidate.
