Marrakech-Menara Airport continues to achieve unanimity on its remarkable aesthetics, but also on the services it offers; assets that have qualified it to be ranked third best regional airport in Africa.
According to the annual world ranking by Skytrax in the category of regional airports, Marrakech-Menara ranked the third in the standings, followed by the Tunis-Carthage in the fourth position, and preceded by two airports in South Africa: King Shaka and East London.
Globally, Asian airports won six of the top ten: South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Beijing, Munich, Zurich, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya and Vancouver.
The rankings are based on Skytrax votes for 10 months over 12 million passengers that rate the quality of services provided by 39 388 airports.
