This major event, which aims to create a space for dialogue and to promote exchanges and joint productions between Moroccan and Belgian artists, will run until February 3, 2013.
The launching ceremony of the artistic and civic season took place in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, Mrs Laurette Onkelinx, the Minister of Culture and Audiovisual Federation Wallonia-Brussels, Fadila Laanan, Minister of Culture Mohamed Amine Sbihi, the Minister in charge of Moroccans residing abroad, Abdellatif Maâzouz, Morocco's ambassador to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Samir Addahre and Ambassador, Head Mission of Morocco to the European Union, Menouar Alem.
Throughout this cultural event, the entire region of Wallonia and some cities in Flanders live to the rhythm of 150 Moroccan artists who will travel to Belgium for the occasion to present a face of an unprecedented wealth of contemporary cultural creation.
