The Moroccan and Qatari parties held, on Sunday in the Amiri Diwan in Doha, a large meeting on the occasion of the official working visit by King Mohammed VI in the State of Qatar.
The meeting was an occasion to survey means and ways to foster bilateral cooperation in many areas, mainly infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, water and energy.
The Moroccan delegation includes the sovereign’s advisors, Omar Azzimane, Zoulikha Nasri, Fouad Ali Al Himma and Yasser Znagui, as well as Foreign Minister Saad El Dine Otmani, Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Equipment and Transport Aziz Rebbah, Minister of Health Houcine El Ouardi, Minister of Energy Fouad Douiri and Morocco’s ambassador in Doha El Mekki Gouane.
The Qatari party was represented by Economy Minister Yousef Hussein Kamal, Energy and Industry Minister Mohamed Bin Salah Assada, State secretary for Foreign Affairs Khalid Al-Attiyah, Minister of social affairs and interim employment minister Nasser Bin Abdullah Al Hamidi, Health Minister Abdullah Bin Al Qahtani, President of the board of directors of Hassad food company Nasser Bin Mohamed Al Fahid Al Hajiri, director of studies and research at the Emir’s cabinet Mohamed Bin Nasser Al Hajiri, director of Arab Affairs at the Foreign Affairs Ministry Ibrahim Abdul-Aziz Sahlawi and Qatar’s ambassador to Morocco Abdul-Aziz Abdurrahmane Sbiai.
King Mohammed VI is paying, since Friday, an official working visit to Qatar as part of a tour in four countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and in Jordan.
After Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Qatar, the sovereign will head for the UAE and Kuwait.
