The Secretary General of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Taleb Rifai, who presented the award to representatives of the Moroccan National Tourist Office in Russia, highlighted the originality and creativity that marked the promotion of Morocco destination through the stand who has registered, he noted, a record attendance during the event.
"Intourmarket" organizers have said during the ceremony that the participation of Morocco in the seventh edition of the ITM reflects the kingdom's ambition to conquer the Russian market and promote Morocco destination among tourist operators of this great country, especially in these times marked by a significant drop in departures to other destinations in north Africa.
Morocco was an increasingly popular destination during recent years by Russian tourists, noted the organizers of this professional event, adding that the Moroccan stand reflects the richness and diversity of the socio-cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
