Morocco Celebrates Birthday Of HRH Princess Lalla Asmae
Rabat - The Royal Family and the Moroccan people are celebrating, Saturday, the birthday of HRH Princess Lalla Asmae, sister of HM king Mohammed VI.


HRH is very active in associative actions, especially in favor of children with special needs. She is the honorary chairwoman of the Lalla Asmae Foundation for Deaf-Dumb children which provides schooling and care for this category of children since 1968.

Starting the current academic year, the Foundation will enable these children for the first in Morocco to pursue secondary and high school teachings for obtaining the A-level degree. The foundation also offers professional trainings in embroidery, weaving and designing, and for the first time graphics and cooking.

On the other hand, the construction of the Lalla Asmae centre for deaf-dumb children and young people have ended, and the centre is being equiped and will soon be launched in partnership with Maroc Telecom and Redal.
