Speaking to MAP following the meeting, Akhannouch underlined the importance of this meeting which takes place at a time Morocco and the EU are negotiating agreements, particularly in the fields of agriculture and fisheries.
The meeting was also an opportunity to shed light on Morocco's large scale projects, notably the Green Morocco plan, which is intended to bolster the agricultural production, and the national strategy to develop the fisheries sector, Halieutis plan, the Minister added.
Earlier in the day, the EU official met with Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi, Economy and Finance Minister Salaheddine Mezouar and the House Representatives’ first deputy Mohamed Abbou.
Fule's visit to Morocco is part of regular consultations between the two parties within the framework of the Advanced Status.
