The Moroccan-French economic development “is a great opportunity and an asset for globalization,” said French Foreign Trade Minister, Nicole Bricq.
“We share, Moroccans and French, a common economic destiny,” the Minister said in an interview with the Moroccan French language daily l’Economiste, published Thursday.
“France needs a strong Morocco, a Morocco where our companies export, settle and create jobs and wealth, because when Morocco is better our economy gets better,” she said.
The French minister, who starts a visit to Morocco on Thursdady, called for reciprocity in trade, especially with the large emerging countries so that companies, French as well as Moroccan, “can be on an equal footing in globalization.”
