Morocco, GB pledge to strengthen cooperation in security field




Morocco and Great Britain pledged, on Tuesday in Paris, to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of security.

    During a meeting, held on the sidelines of the G8 Conference on the fight against transatlantic cocaine trafficking, State Secretary to the Interior Minister Saad Hassar and British Home Secretary Theresa May agreed to exchange visits between experts and share experiences in the field of security.

    The two officials also reviewed friendship and cooperation relations between the two kingdoms in several areas.

    May also expressed the solidarity of her country with Morocco following the attack of April 28 in Marrakech, and voiced her feelings of compassion with the victims of this "terrible" terrorist act.
