In a statement on Saturday, the Minister said that the meeting focused on the prospects for cooperation in public governance, fighting against corruption and strengthening the principles of transparency and honesty in the fields of public administration and business.
On this occasion, Alami has reviewed all the projects of reform and modernization that have occurred Morocco, including constitutional reforms and institutional changes in progress, reflecting a significant change in the consolidation of the rule of law and democratic institutions.
For his part, Morris welcomed the “excellent initiative” taken by Morocco in these fields and the “tangible progress” that has resulted.
He noted that Morocco is, therefore, one of the “most qualified” countries to play a fundamental role in the Arab region in order to achieve the democratic and institutional reforms to which its people aspire.
