The means to promote cooperation in the field of the press were at the heart of talks on Friday in Washington between Communication Minister and Spokesperson for the Government Mustapha El Khalfi and senior officials from the US Department of State.
During talks with Tara Sonenshine, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman, El khalfi highlighted the reforms undertaken by Morocco to consolidate the democratic process and implement its new constitution.
The two sides also examined the means to further reinforce cooperation in the field of journalism through the exchange of experience.
The talks were also an opportunity to raise the developments that took place in the Maghreb region.
