Morocco is taking part in "Expo 2010 Shanghai"

Morocco attaches great importance to this event and takes an active part and is the only African country that has its own pavilion which will cover 4000 m2 under the theme "The Art of Moroccan Urban Life," says a statement from the Chinese Embassy in Morocco.

The day of the Morocco Pavilion is scheduled for September 30, 2010. In June, a band of Moroccan artists will be sent to China to participate in performances held during the exhibition.

With the participation of 242 countries, regions and international organizations and 70 million visitors expected, the 2010 Shanghai Expo, which will last six months, until October 31, the exhibition is the largest and most visited in the history of this Universal Exposition.

During the 184 days of exposure, more than 20,000 arts and cultural events will be organized. Expo 2010 Shanghai will be the first of its kind held in a developing country.
