Morocco officially applies for position of UPM's SG

"Morocco has submitted this candidacy at a meeting of the Mediterranean Arab countries' foreign ministers, held Sunday on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Arab League's Ministerial Council," the minister told MAP.

    He stressed that Arabs unanimously support Morocco's candidacy and are in favor of presenting to the European party one Arab candidate, highlighting the Moroccan unwavering resolve and its will to enable the Union to play an influential role within the framework of serious cooperation.
