A statement from the Moroccan Embassy in Lima said on Wednesday that the Kingdom's participation in this international event is part of strengthening cooperation ties between Ica and Dakhla, two cities which have been twinned.

At a ceremony, attended by local authorities and the President of the Festival, Juan Pablo Moron Girao, Morocco's ambassador to Peru, Oumama Aouad, was awarded the "City Medal".
