The service to Nice commenced on August 25th and will operate on a daily basis until October 30th 2011, at which time frequency will be increased to provide twice-daily connections.
Return economy fares start from £99 including taxes.
Twice-weekly flights to Agadir will be available with bmi on Tuesdays and Saturdays from October 29th this year, with return fares currently available from £299.
Agadir is the airline's third destination in Morocco, following the introduction of routes from Heathrow to Marrakech and Casablanca earlier this year.
Joerg Hennemann, bmi's chief commercial officer, said: "Located on the south-east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice has long been a favourite year-round destination and we are delighted that our customers now have the chance to discover this cosmopolitan city with convenient schedules.
"The addition of Agadir will enable us to meet the increasing demand from both corporate and leisure customers. Agadir is a vibrant city on the Atlantic coast renowned for its year round climate, enjoying over 300 days of sunshine per year."
He went on to note that the Moroccan city boasts "unspoilt charm" and a location at the foot of the Atlas mountains, from where visitors can choose to visit the beach or take part in some more adventurous activities.
