One out of ten French tourists intends to visit Morocco in 2012 said a survey published on Wednesday by the Officiel des Vacances.
The survey showed that 11% of French tourists plan to spend their holidays or weekends in Morocco, particularly in the 5-star hotels and riads of Marrakech, while 7.5% preferred Tunisia compared and 2.5% chose Egypt.
The results demonstrate Morocco’s reputation among French tourists as a privileged destination south of the Mediterranean.
