President of UN General Assembly: Morocco, active member of United Nations

Morocco is an active member of the United Nations, the President of the 66th session of UN General Assembly, the Qatari Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, said.

“We discussed the main issues on the UN GA agenda, particularly those of major interest for Morocco”, Abdulaziz Al-Nasser told reporters following his talks with head of government Abdelilah Benkirane.

Several political and economic issues were discussed, said Al-Nasser, who is visiting Morocco at the invitation of the Moroccan government.

The UN GA President is also expected to meet on Wednesday and Thursday with other Moroccan officials.
