It was agreed upon after a meeting that Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) chairman Ahmed al-Nuaimi had with the Moroccan minister for tourism Yassir Zenagui recently in Doha. Moroccan ambassador to Qatar Abdulazeem al-Tebu was also present at the meeting.

At the meeting, Zenagui suggested organising an exhibition of Morocco in Qatar, which he said would be the first of its kind from Morocco in this country. The main goal of the expo would be to introduce Moroccan traditions, customers and crafts to Qatari community.

Al-Nuaimi assured his support for the exhibition.

Apart from the mantioned above I think that staff in the tourism industry is an important part of the final product, one of the main resources of competitive advantage the organization, and consequently, quality of service in the tourist organizations depends on the skill and awareness of employees. Customer satisfaction in the service sector is achieved courtesy of staff and its responsiveness. Thus, effective people management is becoming one of the most important functions of the tourist organization - in the HR function. This allows the author to highlight the problem of improving human resource management in one of the key concepts of development of the tourism industry at the micro level.
