The 13th edition of the jazz festival "Tanjazz" will be held from 19 to 23 September in Tangier with the participation of more than 197 renowned artists from several countries, including 26 Moroccans.
Scenes mounted on this occasion will host artists and groups from diverse backgrounds such as musician and pianist La Velle and Friends, Dyayne Dopsie and the Zideco Hellraisers, Bebey Prince Bissongo, charismatic singer-guitarist Burkinabe, Majid Bekkas "afro gnaoui jazz band, " said organizers at a press conference in Casablanca.
Moroccan composer multi-instrumentalist M'Oud Swing Quartet, Tawfik Ouldammar and SouissiTrio, Issliman, MoAdib Garti Guintet, Ben Prestage, Swing Messengers, Gnawa express, and Puissance Jazz Big Band will perform to gratify fans of jazz and related genres.
Zangao group, Batunga and the subprimes, qnd Festi'Bal de Roger Cactus will also take part. They will make the audience dance on various notes of reggae, ska, country, zouk and rock. Sweet Syqrzm, a female vocal trio, offers an open jazz with a mix of great standards.
