The 1st International Festival of Magic Arts, 19-21 March in Essaouira

Initiated by the French association "Magicus" and the Moroccan "Annassim" with the support of the province and city council, the festival is the idea of four artists: three Moroccans Nourredine Bellaoui Mustafa Bunar and Youssef Chouiter and the French Didier Puech.

Given the absence of a festival that gives a proper place to illusionists, the four artists had the idea to organize a competition just to give voice to the new generation of magicians. Around the contest scene, there will be street magic, conferences, exhibitions, and magic fairs.

The festival has also set a goal to channel all this energy by providing technical advice and art through lectures and discussions on "magic paint", "movie magic", "laughter, is it universal?"

The Festival was conceived and intended as a friendly artistic encounter and exchange of ideas and experiences, to raise awareness about the art of magic amongst the general public.

The festival will be enhanced by the participation of the famous French magician Bernard Bilis, who will give a lecture for the benefit of magicians.
