The 4th National Amazigh Film Festival, 18-25 October in Ouarzazate

In this cultural and artistic event, held by the Moroccan Association for Research and Cultural Exchange in Ouarzazate, a number of short and long films that reflect the richness of Amazigh ftlms in recent years.

These include the short films "Salam Damtane" by director Mohamed Amine Amraoui, "Tamktit" by Ahmed Baidou, "Ayisi Inou" by Abdellatif Fadil and "Flash" by Mohamed Agzahou.

Scheduled feature films include "Tamazirt Ouffela" by director Mohamed Mernich, "Abika" by Mahjoub Ibourk, "Tabrats" by Ali Ait Bouzid and "Id Belâadim" by Said Bahhous.

Besides film shows, there will be organized debates about the films screened and workshops to be conducted by film critics and professors at the Institute for Cinema Careers in Ouarzazate.

The festival will culminate in the distribution of prizes and a tribute to artists Fatima Joutane and Id Abderahmane Bourhim .
