The 7th Timitar Festival, Agadir

The Festival is being launched with the theme "Amazigh artists welcome the music of the world" . The festival will celebrate the Amazigh culture and the music of the world.

The event drew some 500,000 spectators last year and everything suggests that the crowds will be even greater this year.

Marrakech-Agadir Motorway has already boosted the national tourist flows to the city this summer, and organizers are confident that this achievement will encourage music fans in other regions of Morocco to make the trip to the the Timitar festival.

Faithful to its vocation and its openness to the world, this artistic event aims to celebrate once again the diversity of rhythms and the dialogue of cultures.

For four days, the capital of the Souss will start with the rhythms of the music that will cover several areas of the city (Al Amal and Places Bijaouane and air theater).

Some 600 artists are invited for 32 concerts with the ambition to vibrate the entire region and attract an eager audience .
