The city of Marrakech will see many artists, collectors and art lovers gathered at the same place and same time for four days. Visitors from other cities in Morocco and abroad have the chance to have significant meetings and discover the richness of the artistic scene. The Salon also welcomes Moroccan artists working abroad , who have never previously exhibited in Morocco.

On the occasion of the first event of the winter Bienniale Marrakech , everyone witnessed the new rise of photography. The enthusiasm of collectors for this type of art has taken time to take root in Morocco.

From 16 to 19 December 2010 organizers will renew this experience by inviting more galleries as well as Moroccan and foreign foundations and public and private collections to display works of art during four days in Marrakech.

The Winter Fair Biennale of Marrakech is a place of discovery for established artists and new talent. Its goal is to be a biannual event for professionals and artists to promote contemporary art in Morocco.
The exhibition area and the number of participating galleries will be doubled this year. Twelve galleries will be invited to participate in this edition. A thousand square meters of space on two floors will host the event. The round tables, conferences and workshops will be grouped on the same place as the living room.

In addition to the space reserved for galleries, there will be an area devoted to meetings and appointments between the professionals who wish to hold meetings on the sidelines of the exhibition.

The program for this second edition of the Winter Fair Biennale Marrakech is as follows:

- An exhibition dedicated to contemporary art galleries, collections and public and private foundations.
- A symposium on the relationship of the Moroccan thinker, Abdekebir Khatibi with contemporary art in Morocco. It is generally agreed that Khatibi influenced several generations of Moroccan arts scene and his historic contribution.

- The ceremony of "Les Palmes de Marrakech" will pay tribute to Moroccan and foreign artists who have marked the history of contemporary art in Morocco and who will receive the trophy "The Palms of Marrakech" created by designer Yahya Rouach and sponsored by prominent figures from the worlds of business and culture.

- A "Discovery" exhibition will display photography, video and new artistic forms that are now very visible in Morocco at cultural events.

The organizers are working to offer all of the red city as a high quality cultural destination during this occasion.
