"Sufism: ethics, taste and nostalgia" is the theme of the nights of Marrakech's festival of Sufi Samaa, organized recently in the red city, at the initiative of the Zawya Kadiriya Boutchichiya.
This event, which lasted three days, has served as an opportunity to highlight the art of Sufi Samaa as an Islamic civilizational heritage and one of the components of Moroccan identity.
The event also helped to build bridges of communication between the followers of the Zawya Kadiriya Boutchichiya and the inhabitants of the red city.
A tribute was made on that occasion, at one of the great figures of Zawya Kadiriya Boutchichiya in Marrakech, the late Sidi Ali Elhaj.
This eclectic event was marked by a symposium on "Sufism and confirmation of religious identity in Morocco" as well as musical shows of Sufi Samaa.
