This forum will be moderated by Moroccan and American professors and specialists and attempts to revive the short film and documentary in a new and artistic vision and as an example of cinema at the service of the environment, according to a press release from the U.S. Embassy.

The forum will also realise a synergy between Moroccan and American film to better understand the exchange such as: the participation of cinema in education and prevention, memory, creativity, and the major role of film in cultural communication and intercultural understanding between people.

University students, media and press institutes, cinema clubs and associations will participate in the forum, during which workshops and roundtables will be planned and directed by specialists in aspects of film.

This forum will also provide an opportunity to view a dozen documentaries and short films from Morocco and the U.S. on an aspect of ecological environment.
