US Ambassador Samuel L. Kaplan will visit the "Friendship Camp" at El Jadida wednedsday 28 July 2010.

This holiday camp was created through the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and the public affairs section of the US Embassy and the Pecae Corps. It aims to develop the use of English and citizen values for the participants.

in the course of this visit Ambassador Kaplan will participate in the opening of this holiday camp and afterwards he will visit the different activity centres for the young people. He will also distribute gifts from the American people to the young participants at the camp.

Cultural activities will include presentations from the american participants on American culture and society which will also take place in different sessions in future holiday camps.

The US Embassy took part in this program of holiday camps in 2006 and also contributed to the organisation of programs for the holiday camps in 2005.
