Work of development of a new tourist resort in Mehdya of a total investment estimated at more than 380 million MAD, will be launched soon in this seaside resort located about ten miles from Kenitra.
A framework agreement for the development of the new station was signed recently between the government and Société Générale des Travaux du Maroc (SGTM SA), selected following a tender, according to the Centre Regional d'Investment (CRI) of Kenitra.
The SAVM carries out this project through its subsidiary Société d'Aménagement et de Valorisation de Mehdya (SAVM).
The project, part of the plan Biladi initiated by the Ministry of Tourism, covers the development of a new tourist resort in the municipality of Mehdya on a land of about 23 ha and will create 700 permanent jobs .
