Morocco conjures up images of bustling souks and busy market squares, and booking a villa in Agadir provides you with the perfect way to escape the crowds and relax.
An Agadir villa may be the ideal place to visit if you live in northern Europe and are looking for a winter sun destination.
With an average January temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius, villas in Agadir are good to visit if you want to escape colder climes. The city of Agadir is located on the Atlantic Ocean, which gives it a temperate climate and a long, relatively quiet beach. Agadir is not a typical Moroccan city, and visitors can take advantage of the many European-style cafes on offer in this modern town. Unlike many Moroccan cities, Agadir has a number of tourist bars and cafes that serve alcohol. Visit the avenue Hassan II and take your pick from La Fontaine, La Veranda, Le Dome and many more. Holidaymakers have the option of various landscapes to explore from Agadir, from the Antiatlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert or the city's many natural parks. The Valee des Oiseaux is worth visiting if you are interested in wildlife, most notably birds, or there are parks such as the Jardin Olhao or the Jardin Ibn Zaidoun and an ancient fortress may be of interest to history buffs. Although Agadir does not offer many traditional Moroccan souks, this does have its advantages. Travellers weary of haggling for their goods will no doubt be pleased to see the city's fixed-price shops. Agadir has many restaurants catering for all budgets and tastes, so whether you are looking for Indian cuisine or more traditional fare, such as fresh fish, the city has it all covered. Holidaymakers have the choice of a number of excursions to make from their Agadir villa. Journey about 40 km south of Agadir and you will find the Souss-Massa national park, which is home to many of the world's wild breeding birds. Alternatively, you could visit the nearby city of Taroudannt and the Hotel Salam, which was once a royal palace and has a garden worthy of exploration. Travelbite New comment:
